Koei Tecmo America revealed a new trailer today for its upcoming samurai action RPG, Nioh, as well as announcing that a second downloadable demo is in the works for PlayStation 4.

After the first demo was released in April, and was downloaded by 850,000 players, this follow up is slated to launch in August with details on its exact release and contents to be announced later. The trailer, meanwhile, provides a glimpse into the world of Nioh while hinting at the powers and motives of the game’s protagonist, William. A selection of assets were also released demonstrating a variety of the locations, enemies, allies and creatures that can be encountered by William as he travels a treacherous path to the end of the world.

Nioh is a dark, fantasy RPG set in war-torn Japan in which players must utilise skill, strategy and patience to face off against other samurai in epic sword battles and is scheduled to launch exclusively for PS4 later this year.
