Shantae: Half-Genie Hero’s first content update detailed
XSEED Games detailed the first update for Shantae Half-Genie Hero.
The update will bring the game version to 1.01 and it adds PlayStation TV support to the Vita version. In addition to that, it includes bug fixes and a new difficulty mode. Hard Core mode will provide an experience for veterans of the genre. I reviewed Shantae on PlayStation 4 and really enjoyed it. Here’s what Hard Core mode includes from XSEED:
Pain and suffering!
Harder-hitting enemies!
Faster enemy patterns!
Faster scroll speeds!
Remixed enemy locations, and more of ‘em!
New boss patterns, attacks, and stats!
Healing items capped at six!
Re-balanced magic items!
Poor Shantae!
Shantae Half-Genie Hero is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox One, and Windows. The update will be available on March 6 in North American regions.
