Unnamed sources in and around Rockstar games have begun to spread a rumour that the developers are currently undertaking extensive research of locations in Hollywood. Whether this indicates that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be set in a Los Angeles-inspired city, or whether it is related to another game, such as L.A. Noire, that remains to be seen.
However, in a blog post, one of these sources claimed that details were likely to be announced soon at a Max Payne 3 event, and it was indeed directly concerning the location of the next game in the Grand Theft Auto series.
