Earlier this year, Zack Snyder’s superhero epic, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice finally hit cinemas to a very mixed response. Regardless, these two giants of the comic book world made quite the impact and gave many DC fans plenty of bang for their buck. As for video games, there have been a few games released over the years where Batman and Superman have bumped heads, making many fans happy and providing hours of fun.

There have been loads ever since we could pick up a controller and play, but here are some of the most recent ones. Batman vs Superman: Who Will Win was released on iPhone on 22nd March, and sees both heroes running down streets, avoiding obstacles and collecting power ups. It’s very much in the same vein as Spiderman Unlimited, and is a cool way to pass a few minutes while you wait for a train, or are relaxing on your lunch break.

Of course, there’s the marvellous Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, which lets you pick all of your favourite DC heroes and villains to fight one on one in epic combat, using signatures moves to reign victorious, all while doing so in popular locations from the comic books. Batman and Superman lock fists in the Batcave and Metropolis, and it couldn’t be more exciting. It’s a great way to recreate some of the two hero’s encounters from the comics, all done in a visually superb way.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham sees the two heroes in brick form, fighting crime and falling out over their over enflamed egos more than anything. It’s a great game where you’re free to explore Gotham City, and there’re plenty of collectibles for you to find throughout the various levels you get to play through. It also lets you enjoy Batman in Superman with a much lighter tone, often replacing the drama you’re familiar with, with humour that’s really well written.
