PixelJunk SideScroller Review

The PixelJunk series of games has gone from strength to strength, the pinnacle of which being released earlier this year in the form of PixelJunk Shooter 2. Spearheaded by Dylan Cuthbert, the pedigree of Q-Games can never be called into question, but being a team that never rests on their laurels, SideScroller sees Q-Games take on yet another new genre like Monsters, Racers, Eden and Shooter before it - this time the side scrolling shoot-em-up genre.

Star Fox 64 3D Review

Star Fox 64 was an excellent game, and this is a super overhaul and all-round package, albeit not a particularly features-packed one. Whilst it is hard to see what more Nintendo could have done with it, save for perhaps including a port of the original Star Fox, for example, there is no denying that for a full price purchase, Star Fox 64 3D is lacking in depth and longevity, and is essentially just a straight port of a game originally released before the turn of the century.

PixelJunk Shooter 2 – Survivor Files Videos

The Q-Games “PixelJunk” series has been really quite succesful, with some excellent downloadable titles for the PlayStation Network such as Eden, Racers, Monsters and of course, Shooter. The release of PixelJunk Shooter 2 is just around the corner, and Q-Games have decided to release a rather strange series of videos, entitled the survivor files.
