Whilst not as wildly popular over here as it is in North America, or Japan, the Shin Megami Tensei series is one that a few of the GodisaGeek staff are fans of.
Not just one of the best role playing games of the year, but one of the best ever made.
Subtitles for us English speaking folk pervade every ounce of dialogue (and there’s a lot, cut-scenes aplenty too) and a culture that some may not be familiar with, especially when it comes to naming conventions, like Ms Megamelons will attest (check the 5 minute mark to see what we’re talking about).
NIS America have been pouring the love onto Europe of late, releasing titles like Bleach: Soul Resurrección or the magnificent Cave Story 3D and even – most recently – Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention for PlayStation Vita. Now though, it is the turn of Way of the Samurai 4, coming September this year to PlayStation 3 and via digital download through the PlayStation Network.
