Spiritual Successor to Ultima Underworld Heads to Kickstarter
Ultima Underworld’s spiritual successor hits Kickstarter today in the form of Underworld Ascendant.
OtherSide Entertainment, a brand new game studio, is focussing on rebooting classics and they being with Underworld Ascendant. The team even includes some of the folks who worked on the original. The Kickstarter campaign page showcases what the team has been working on for the last few months.
Underworld Ascendant will bring back immersive underworld adventuring from the original. Ascendant will have an immersive living world under the earth and contain an innovative form of co-op.
Pledges for the campaign range from a $5 tier for a forum badge and in game item to a $10,000 tier that lets you spend a day with the team and attend the launch party. More information can be found on the Kickstarter campaign page.
