Stardew Valley is getting a retail release in April

by on February 4, 2017

505 Games just announced a partnership with ConcernedApe to bring Stardew Valley to retail shelves.

Stardew Valley has sold nearly 2 million copies. 505 is already familiar with bringing indies to retail with the successful Terraria and Rocket League. Now they will bring the already successful Stardew Valley to retail in the form of Stardew Valley collector’s edition.

The Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition will include:

Mini-Guidebook: A miniature version of Kari Fry’s gorgeous Stardew Valley Guidebook, to aid you as you learn to run your own farm and charm your new neighbors.
Pelican Town Map: A fold-out poster of the Pelican Town map, also illustrated by Kari Fry, so that you’ll never get lost!
Stardew Valley OST: A copy of the Stardew Valley soundtrack, so you can create a playlist to listen to while you’re harvesting parsnips in real life!

Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition will be released on April 13 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Read our review of the PC version here.
