The wait is finally over.Microsoft to Unveil the Next Xbox on May 21

After months of speculation about the features of the next Xbox console, Microsoft is set to show off their new system.

Major Nelson has spilled the beans on the dates and times. The press conference will be held at their Redmond, WA headquarters and will be available for viewing on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, or Spike TV (a cable station in North America) on May 21 at 6PM or 1PM EST in the US.

On Tuesday May 21st, we’ll mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment. On that day, we’ll be holding a special press event on the Xbox campus and we invite you to join us via the live global stream that will be available on Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE and broadcast on Spike TV if you are in the US or Canada.

    I hope it has a controller with 5 analogue sticks. And an adapter that you put on your tongue for sweet ass mouth feedback. Actually, fuck it, ditch controllers all together and just have cameras all over the room, so I have to dance around like a twat.

    Am I the only one who hopes they keep the Xbox control pads more or less the same?
    I still think the Xbox controller is excellent.

    I have nothing but problems with Xbox 360 controller batteries dying, I’ve gone through about 5 now!
