Procedurally generated RPG Songbringer to be playable at EGX REZZED

Songbringer is a 2.5D pixelated action-RPG developed by one man and it’ll be playable at Eurogamer’s EGX REZZED this weekend.

The game sees players assume the role of a party animal known as Roq as he journeys space in search of the ultimate party. During his journey he unwittingly awakens an evil army and must now battle to save the universe. The developer likes to refer to it as Zelda meets hallucinogens and they’re probably not far off.

The game requires you to enter a six digit code to generate a world to adventure in, allowing for over three-hundred million different combinations to explore. So, unless you share your codes with other people it’s highly likely that two people will not experience the same adventure.

The game is coming out later this year for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac.
