Rumour: Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation Coming to PS Vita
It appears Vita owners are going to get double the stab-happy action this year, with the release of Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation.
A poster on the NeoGaf forums claims to already have the July issue of Game Informer, which apparently contains news on a so far unannounced Assassin’s Creed Vita title.
The game is said to follow a French female assassin named Aveline. Primarily set in New Orleans between 1765-1780, players will also travel to Mexico, while experiencing full Assassin’s Creed gameplay, complete with expansive environments teeming with wildlife.
The post lists Ubisoft Sofia as the developer and says the title will hit alongside Assassin’s Creed 3, on October 30th.
If this rumour turns out to be true, we’ll no doubt get official confirmation during Ubsoft’s E3 conference next week on June 4th, or at Sony’s conference three hours later.
