New Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Trailer Teaches You the Fundamentals of War

Rising Star Games have just sent over a new trailer for their upcoming action / strategy title Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Come inside and check it out!

Based on the 1988 original, Carrier Command, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission claims to have it all. First person shooting, First and Third Person Vehicular and tactical strategic elements.

The game features the Gaea Mission campaign in which players follow a rich storyline involving Lt. Myrik, a soldier of the United Earth Coalition, who has been sent on a mission to defeat the Asian Pacific Alliance. Similar to the original Carrier Command, players can go head on with the title’s Strategy Game mode, enabling them to set starting parameters such as enemy strength and available resources — all of which determine the difficulty and length of a game.

The game features a truly massive looking environment to wage war in, with a lofty 13 separate islands to explore. The trailer below looks great, and it will be interesting to see if the developers Bohemia Interactive manage to blend all of the proposed elements together to create a cohesive gaming experience. If they do, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission could be one of the surprise hits of the year.

You can find out for yourself how the game plays on October 2nd, but for now, feast your eyes on the explosive trailer below.
