SoulCalibur V Available on Games on Demand and PSN April 24th

Namco Bandai will soon make critically acclaimed fighter sequel SoulCalibur V available to all of you that like your games in digital form. Go forth and download, you lazy bums.

If you hadn’t already checked out SoulCalibur V, soon you’ll have a good excuse to pick it up. Priced at €19.99 for the standard edition, and €29.99 for the legendary edition, you’ll be able to pick up what was probably 2012s best fighter for a nice knock down price, and you won’t even have to get off of the sofa. Don’t you just love living in the future?

Here’s a snippit of what Sean had to say about the game back in January of last year;

“Your fighting games live or die by their combat system, those are the rules, and why we are playing Soul Calibur V and not Battle Arena Toshinden 8. Soul Calibur, as a result of the unique 8-way trickery and considered, balanced weapon-based attack, has always been reliably sound in this department. With a number of new tweaks and additions, this sixth version is as playable a fighter you can get your hands on, easy to learn, and difficult, but rewarding, to master.”

Has that whet your appetite? If you missed the SoulCalibur V boat the first time around, at least now you have a chance to climb aboard from the comfort of your bean bag.

SoulCalibur V is available now on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the digital release due April 24th
