White Xbox One Could Be Made Available To Public

by on August 27, 2013

Yesterday Microsoft revealed a white version of their upcoming Xbox One console, which will be gifted to their employees upon the machine’s launch in November.

It now appears that the white console could eventually be making its way into the hands of the public, but not for a while yet.

Answering a fan’s question on Reddit about the possibility, Major Nelson said “maybe waaaay in the future”.

MS employees will receive the console, all the day one first party exclusives and a year of Xbox Live – all for free, which is certainly very nice of them.

Earlier today it was reported that Microsoft are eyeing up an earlier release date for the console than Sony announced for the PlayStation 4 last week.

Considering the PS4 is being released on November 29th and we know the X1 will be out sometime in November it’s not the greatest piece of detective work ever, but ho hum.
