UK Studio VisionArts Launches Middle of Nowhere Kickstarter Campaign

by on September 27, 2013

Touting Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve and Silent Hill as inspiration for their game, UK indie VisionArts have just launched their Kickstarter campaign for Middle of Nowhere.

This survival horror title is being built using Unity and the team are aiming to eventually launch on Steam. It’s said to be a story-driven game, where the player must head for a small town in America to find their brother, who has gone missing.

Aaron Wilde, professional composer for video games & film and co-founder of VisionArts, is aiming to release Middle of Nowhere in May 2014, with the help of a number of Kickstarter backers, of course.

You can check out their pitch video below and can help the team reach their £25,000 goal by pledging on their Kickstarter page, if you so desire.

This looks like one for old-school fans as VisionArts say that Middle of Nowhere is going to be far harder than most games from this era and will also include a lot of exploratory environments.
