Get Some Classic Zelda Action In The Nintendo Eshop this week
With its spiritual successor – The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds – being released a few weeks ago to great acclaim, it is no surprise to see that the headline new release on the Nintendo eShop this week is the fan-favourite Super Nintendo classic title, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
A Link to the Past was one of the most notable titles from the early days of the SNES, and has remained one of the most popular games in the Zelda series. The game will be available on the eShop for Wii U from Thursday December 12, priced at £5.49/€7.99. It is great to see one of the Super Nintendo heavyweights getting a re-release in the eShop, especially as it is so topical, what with the new game out.
The other new releases this week are the digital version of Wii U Party – which is bound to be popular over Christmas at family gatherings – which will be released on Wii U on the same day, priced at £36.99/€44.99, and Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!, which will be available on both the Wii U eShop and the 3DS eShop, priced at 36.99/€44.99 and 28.49/€34.99 respectively.
