Gunslugs Shooting onto Playstation Vita This Month

by on February 10, 2014

Pascal Bestebroer, developer of many videogames under the name of Orange Pixel, has revealed via PSBlog that his titles are coming to Playstation Vita, with the first being Gunslugs.

The title is a retro-themed shooting action title that clearly takes cues from the likes of Metal Slug, but is apparently even more intense (but always fair), thanks in no small part to its randomly generated levels.

Pascal uses the blog post to not only introduce the title to Playstation gamers, but also to poke fun at mobile platforms, commenting on iOS and Android being buggy devices, and sarcastically pointing out that the games will be better played with physical buttons.

Gunslugs soundtrack is the only thing not tackled by Pascal, and it sounds wonderfully old-school.

Gunslugs will be released later this month, and will hopefully be followed by many of Pascal’s other retro-inspired offerings.
