Forza Horizon 2 Launch DLC and VIP Pass Detailed

Microsoft have announced the Forza Horizon 2 Launch Bonus Car Pack, which will add an extra eight cars to the game’s 200 strong car list at no extra cost at launch.

This car pack will feature eight cars with a focus on variety, from ‘rough-and-tumble trucks’ like the 1956 Ford F-100 to the raw power represented by the 2015 Ford Mustang GT.

The Launch Bonus Car Pack will include three never-before-seen vehicles in the Forza franchise: the 2003 Ford Focus RS, the 1997 Land Rover Defender 90, and the 1993 Clio Williams.

Microsoft also took today to announce other ways you can spend more money on Forza Horizon 2, including VIP Membership and the Car Pass.

VIP Membership will cost  £15.99 for newcomers, or £7.99 for existing Forza Motorsport 5 VIP members, and offers a host of benefits. The VIP Car Pack is exclusive to VIP members, which features five cars (four of which are brand new to the Forza franchise). VIP membership also gives you 2x in-game reward acceleration, access to exclusive multiplayer events, in-game gifts from the Forza community team, and special in-game recognition.

Then there’s the Forza Horizon 2 Car Pass (£19.99) which gets you access to six monthly pack add-ons beginning in October, with each pack featuring five amazing cars. Plus, Car Pass owners will receive an exclusive bonus car for free: the 2010 Noble M600.

So yeah. To top it all off, the Forza Horizon 2 demo is out today, so go download. Digital buyers can also pre-load the game apparently, should you buy it digitally.
