In case you record slow motion with 240 frames per second, it will take even more space. If you can’t delete stuff out of your phone, you can use a Cloud storage option.

iCloud

Do you want to know how to clean iPhone? It’s Simple, enable iCloud Library on your phone. iCloud Storage promises the following benefits:

  • You better have enough storage
  • You cant watch streamed stuff offline

Yes, you can view some stuff online as iCloud stores recent stuff that you will access in physical storage. If you some free space, then iCloud will store more stuff on your device. But if you don’t, then iCloud will keep saving up space by saving your snaps online and removing the local copies. It is very useful for old stuff.

iCloud works in the background without affect your device’s performance. So, if you want to enable iCloud storage, follow these steps:

  • Tap on Settings
  • Select Photos and Camera
  • Enable iCloud Photo Library
  • Select Optimize iPhone Storage

Delete Useless App

It’s an obvious tip; you better delete stuff you no longer need. You have to go through your files and folders to purge useless apps. Anything you downloaded once can be redownloaded whenever you wanted as the purchases are tied to your Apple ID.

If you are not using an app, it’s eating up necessary space, most apps store their data in your phone, so there is a good chance you will not lose anything important. But before you delete something, make sure it doesn’t store the data inside the app.

Uninstall and Reinstall Apps That Consume

Too much Space

With time, some apps will bloat. This happens when the apps store data locally or cache stuff for a performance boost. Facebook App is a good example; It takes to have a huge chunk of your storage.

So, you better regularly check your app storage and see which apps are the hungriest. Uninstalling or reinstalling apps will free some storage. To see which apps, take most space, do the following:

  • Go to Settings
  • Choose General
  • Select Storage & iCloud Usage
  • Check Manage Storage, don’t confuse it with iCloud

In Manage Storage, you can see a basic overview of how much space an app is taking.  Tap the space-hungry apps, and you will be asked if you can delete them or not. Depending on their use versus how much space they consume, you can choose to delete them right at a moment’s notice.
