Love Action movies? Here’s our top 5 to re-watch this Summer

From thrilling cinematic effects, to stunts, to epic fight scenes, it’s no wonder action films captivate their audiences time and time again. So if you’re planning to revisit some classics this summer, you’re in luck. We’ve put together an infographic on the top 5 action movies to add to your re-watch list. It wasn’t easy coming up with the list . . . but we had some criteria in mind.

First, they had to be iconic in their use of cinematic effects. From the slow-mo scenes in The Matrix that pioneered a generation of fight scenes on screen, to the CGI effects in King Kong, we think we’ve covered that well. Secondly, the plots in the movies had to be intriguing and worth re-watching. The character development in Gladiator and RoboCop certainly accounts for that.
