Operation Flashpoint?! More like Operation Strangest Special Edition!

When the Modern Warfare 2 special edition was announced we thought that was quite possibly the strangest special edition ever. How wrong we were eh?! Move over Modern Warfare 2 night vision goggles and say hello to the Operation Flashpoint 2 full size army helmet! Yes folks, Codemasters have today announced that Operation Flashpoint 2 will be getting a super duper special edition with a full size army helmet and dog tag.
This is actually a game a few of us here at GodisaGeek are looking forward to but we never expected it to have some sort of special edition. I guess they looked at what Activision were doing with Modern Warfare 2 and well they wanted a piece of the super duper special edition pie. Will people actually buy this and then walk around wearing it while they go about their daily business?! Hmm. If that person is you please send us some photos, we love a good laugh here at GodisaGeek! I can see it now, at night the streets will be full of people wearing their Operation Flashpoint 2 army helmets with their Modern Warfare 2 night vision goggles at hand. It will be the new craze to sweep the nation! 😀
Operation Flashpoint 2 is due to be released on October 8th for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The Special Edition has only been announced for Europe at the moment.
