Outland, the forthcoming side-scrolling platformer from Ubisoft and Housemarque looks amazing. The eye-catching visuals are reminiscent of gaming classic Flashback, but with a South American skew. A silhouetted protagonist explores worlds of Jungle ruins and temples, whilst using the shoulder buttons to switch from light to dark alignment, in order to fight enemies and survive the taxing environments. Similar to the route taken by Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, the game will also feature a co-op story mode and co-op challenge rooms, so grab a friend for some teamwork-action.

Ubisoft will release the title on the European PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on 27th April.
