Sony Announce Uncharted, Resistance And Ratchet & Clank Double Packs
Sony are looking to offer three of their most popular gaming franchises to gamers at a knock-down price, in a series of double packs. First to get the treatment, PlayStation 3 super-series Uncharted will be bundled together as Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves are boxed in at one price. Both incredibly successful individually, the pack will also throw in an Uncharted 3 Avatar and Theme for your PlayStation 3 console. For those who have yet to sample the series, this pack will no doubt create a lot of new fans, just in time for the November 4th release of the third title, Drake’s Deception.
Another franchise to get the treatment will be Ratchet & Clank. The platforming game collection from Insomniac Games will partner up Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time – this will build up to the upcoming release of the latest sequel, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One on October 21st. Another series from Insomniac Games, Resistance, rounds out the selection of packages Sony are putting together, as Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 and put in one package. A third game in this series, Resistance 3, is due to be released on September 9th.
These three double-packs will go on sale on July 22nd, exclusively for PlayStation 3. Prices are not yet known.
