Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light PSN and PC Release Date Announced

by on September 21, 2010

Square Enix have finally announced the release date for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on PSN and PC. The game will be available to purchase and download on September 28th for the price of £9.99 in the UK.

They have also unveiled that from October to December five DLC packs will be available to buy across all formats. Yay, no waiting for PS3 and PC owning Lara Croft fans! The first three packs will be gameplay related, adding new puzzles to tackle, new areas to explore and new combat experiences. The last two packs will be character related and, no, they won’t just be skins for Lara and Toetc. Gamers will get the chance to play as other well-known gaming characters instead. A nice little touch, I’m sure you’ll agree.

However, there is some bad news and it relates to the online co-op. It seems like it has once again been delayed and no reason has been given. The press release just stated online co-op will be available at a later date. We hope it comes soon as a game like Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light needs to be played cooperatively.
