by on December 20, 2010

Commuters walking by London’s St. Pancras station were this morning greeted by a strange sight, Lara Croft displayed on 56 iPads. The one-of-a-kind advertising campaign was set up to coincide with the launch of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

The one-of-a-kind installation, made using 56 iPads, only lasted for 30 minutes and once the display had finished, a handful of lucky Londoners walked away with the latest technology craze and a copy of the game pre-loaded onto it ready for all their Monday morning commuting needs.

“Gaming on the move is a fantastic way to keep entertained on those long winter commutes,” said Darrell Gallagher, Studio Head of Crystal Dynamics. “and with temperatures in the UK set to drop again this week people need this today more than ever”. Too right Darrell, too right.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is available to download from iTunes now for the iPad (£5.99), iPhone and iPod (£3.99).
