Multimillion Point Forza 4 Car Park Opens this Thursday

by on October 11, 2011

If you read our recent review of Forza Motorsport 4, as well as our interview with Forza Motorsport 4 Creative Director Dan Greenawalt, then you’ll probably be pleased to know that on Thursday 13th October, in Shoreditch in East London, is set to become home to arguably the world’s most expensive car park ever assembled.

More than 20 supercars including four cars worth over £1 million each – a Bugatti Veyron, a carbon Pagani Zonda, a McLaren F1 and a Ferrari Enzo, plus the yet to be released BMW M5 – are set to pull into a new Shoreditch car park opposite the Holiday Inn on Old St, EC1V 9LN. A selection of them will also hit the streets of London on route to the carpark, cruising past some of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks, before taking up their spaces in the fantasy line up.

Resembling the 80+ manufacturers available in the game, the Car Park will feature a breathtaking A-Z of the greatest car brands in the world from Aston Martin to Zonda. The vehicles are being provided by the London Motor Museum, to mark the launch of Forza Motorsport 4 for Xbox 360. To buy the cars outright would cost any budding oligarchs over a staggering eight million pounds.

The full list of cars include:

  • Aston Martin DBS Coupe
  • Aston Martin Vanquish
  • Audi R8
  • Bentley Continental GT
  • BMW M5
  • Bugatti Veyron
  • Dodge Challenger 1970
  • Dodge Charger 1969 (Hemi engine)
  • Ferrari 458
  • Ferrari California
  • Ferrari Enzo
  • Jaguar E Type 1961
  • Koenigsegg CCX
  • Lamborghini Galardo
  • Lamborghini Murcielago
  • McLaren F1
  • McLaren Mercedes 2011 SLS AMG
  • McLaren MP4 – 12C
  • Mercedes SLS AMG
  • Pagani Zonda (carbon edition)
  • Pontiac Firebird Transam

Petrolheads, car nuts and gaming fans alike will not only be able to see the greatest cars on the planet up close, but also take them on a virtual test drive on the world’s most famous racing tracks, on Forza 4 on one of the Xbox 360 consoles at the Car Park.

Visitors can also take part in a fast lap competition as they drive the ‘reasonably priced car’ around the virtual Top Gear track, to win an Xbox 360 250GB Kinect console bundle, a wireless speed wheel, a copy of Forza Motorsport 4 and six pairs of tickets to the London Motor Museum.

The Forza car park will be open for business from 7.30am on Thursday 13th October.
