Project X Zone Demo Unleashed on 3DS
Project X Zone, the ultimate cross-over between Namco Bandai, Sega, and Capcom, is preparing for its western release by giving European 3DS owners a taste of the game. Co-developed by Banpresto and Monolith Soft, Project X Zone is, at its core, a turn-based strategy game with action elements. Over 50 characters from 29 series from the three companies will be playable.
The demo is titled “A lethal surprise” and includes characters from Valkyria Chronicles, Space Channel, and Sakura Wars to emphasize the crossover appeal. A second demo will launch June 27. If anything, Project X Zone will provide 1st class fan service and considering Banpresto and Monolith Soft’s track record, solid gameplay.
Project X Zone will be released for Nintendo 3DS on July 7 in the UK and June 25 in North America
