Video Games: The Movie Surpasses Kickstarter Goal

by on May 29, 2013

The most recent video game related Kickstarter to surpass its goal is Mediajuice Studios’ Video Games: The Movie. In an effort to create a documentary that tells the story of the medium, director Jeremy Snead has sat down with loads of big names in the industry and has compiled their thoughts into one encompassing film.

Aiming for $60,000 and now sitting at nearly $70,000, some stretch goals have been announced in order to entice those that may only be hearing about the campaign, now. At $80,000, a celebrity will be enlisted to narrate over the movie, if they get $100k they will be able to purchase the rights to some songs you know and if the general public give Mediajuice $120,000, a “renowned” artist/composer will be employed to score the documentary.

You can donate on their Kickstarter page if you’d like to help them reach one of their stretch goals.
