More Details Revealed For The Walking Dead: 400 Days

by on June 13, 2013

The Walking Dead: 400 Days is probably one of the most anticipated games to come out from E3 so far this year – with the first gameplay footage from the game creating some real excitement among fans and critics alike.

Telltale have now addressed a few more details regarding the new episode, and when we can expect it. 400 Days is currently slated for release sometime in July – with no confirmed date as of yet. The episode will be released as DLC for the original season of The Walking Dead – so gamers will need to have at least episode one in order to download 400 Days.

It was already revealed that 400 Days will read your saved game information from season one, and also count towards season two – when that is released. The extra episode will costs $4.99, or your local equivalent when it is released, and it will not be included in the season pass for the original season. The episode is meant to bridge the gap between the two seasons, but it will not continue the storyline – so don’t expect to see Clementine or any other familiar faces in 400 Days.

This DLC can’t come soon enough for the GodisaGeek team, with the first season being our game of the year for 2012. Getting the chance to re-visit the game world of The Walking Dead – but with all-new characters – is a prospect we cannot wait to try.
