Sony have announced the day they officially launch their PlayStation business in China. On January 11th 2015 Sony will hit the market there with their hugely successful PlayStation 4 and their not so successful (But still really lovely) PlayStation Vita.

To help the business along Sony will offer what the consider to be a ‘robust’ after-sales service to ensure that Chinese users have a smooth and enjoyable experience. They’ve also announced that there are 70 developers and publishers along with SCE Worldwide studios delivering games for the systems to China. Not only that, but Sony will be partnering with Modian.com to help Chinese developers bring their titles to the PS4 and Vita.

Andrew House had this to say:

PS4 is expanding at the fastest rate in PlayStation hardware history, and the global gaming community is enjoying the ultimate entertainment experience only available on PlayStation. We are delighted that we are able to fully launch our business in China, which is a market with great potential. We look forward to delivering exciting software, convenient services and entertainment experiences only possible on PlayStation to the many gamers in China.
