ESL Bringing Hearthstone to Katowice

by on February 20, 2015

ESL’s Katowice event just keeps getting bigger and bigger as the company has just announced that a $30,000 Hearthstone tournament is being added to the event.

The Hearthstone Legendary Series major is being sponsored by Intel and HP and will see eight of the best Hearthstone players compete for a share of the $30,000 and valuable 2015 Hearthstone World Championship points.

A 16 player qualifier round will be played online in order to determine the eight players who will make it to the main stage in Katowice. The qualifier round will be made up of the winner of Season 1 of the ESL Hearthstone Legendary Series, seven invited players, and eight players who make it through qualifiers (five from Europe and Russia, two from Poland and one from America.)

You can still purchase tickets for the Katowice festivities right here or if you won’t be able to attend in person there will be a number of streams from the event from March 12-15.
