First Batch of April’s Xbox One System Updates Now in Preview

by on March 23, 2015

Members of the Xbox One Preview programme can now preview the first wave of system updates coming to the Xbox One in April, with more being added next week.

The changes that will be made to the Xbox One are as follows:

Party chat improvements: The user experience of party chat will be improved with troubleshooting guidance for Xbox One owners. The app will help you get your mic enabled and show you when privacy or connection issues are hindering communication with another player.

Game hub links: You’ll be able to discover game hub content with an activity feed. You’ll also be able to see your own activity in the game, as it will show achievements, screenshots and videos.

Achievement notifications: The achievement notification will now included the achievement description, so you don’t have to stop playing to see what you did. But if you choose to visit the achievement app regardless, the process has been made faster.

More updates for the Preview programme are set to be announced next week.
