Oculus Rift launches in the UK today

Oculus Rift, the Facebook-owned virtual reality headset launches in the UK today. Priced at £549, the headset is available from retailers John Lewis, Curry’s PCWorld, GAME Digital Plc., Harrods and online via Amazon.

Demo experiences are scheduled at several retailers, with new locations being added every week.

Every Rift headset will come bundled with VR platformer Lucky’s Tale, along with free 3D 360 videos and movies, plus access to the games and experiences on the Oculus Store. There are currently more than 100 full-featured VR games and experiences already available with more than 30 new titles scheduled to launch this year.
