Welcome to the Family…

…and what a splendid family it is. As gamers, we are rarely treated to games that possess stories as engaging and entertaining as their gameplay. The original Mafia, developed by Take-Two was one of those games that managed to accomplish both. Although not perfect, it was definitely a brilliant experience that should be played by any lover of your typical gangster movie, as it drew heavily from films such as The Godfather and Goodfellas. A lot of the problems in the original were caused by the time period of the game (1920′s). With the sequel set 20 years later, some of these problems should be alleviated. For example, no more painful 40Mph (which was the top speed of most vehicles) battles with your chosen automobile to try and get to your next destination.

If the trailer is any indication of the final product we should be in for another dose of compelling story telling, which should hook you in and keep you begging for more, combined with a nice healthy dose of sandbox-gaming.

I am one of the founding members who decided to get together and begin this amazing site with like minded people....Uni is an amazing thing!

I live, breathe, eat, sleep and drink GEEK! Been gaming since I was 4 years old and have made it my mission to own every gaming platform since I held my first NES controller. There isn't a genre I don't enjoy, if a game is even remotely good I'll be playing it. In my spare time (when I'm not gaming) I like to feed my anime, Japanese Culture and Gundam model kit addictions.

If we are going to get on there is two things you need to acknowledge - Hideo Kojima is a GOD and Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a master piece!

    God truly is a GEEK!
