Don Mattrick Reportedly Leaving Microsoft for Zynga
According to a rumour on allthingsd.com, Microsoft Entertainment President Don Mattrick- the public face of the Xbox console- will be leaving the company as soon as today to take a position at Zynga Corporation. While the rumour didn’t specifically state a new position for Mattrick at the struggling social gaming company, it did mention it could be as high as CEO.
With Microsoft taking a big public relations hit in many circles with its now-reversed always-online and DRM policies and Mattrick’s own controversial remarks, it remains to be seen how Microsoft reacts.
