Mad Catz Announce Force Feedback Racing Wheel for Xbox One

Mad Catz has announced today that they will be releasing a brand new racing wheel and adjustable pedal set for Xbox One, later this year.

The Force Feedback Racing Wheel is said to offer a premium product to fans of racing games as the steering wheel is wrapped in suede leather and will also contain the much touted Force Feedback, as the name suggests. A luxury CNC anodized aluminum wheel face is also present and can be taken off the unit, if the owner wishes to replace or upgrade it.

Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, was notably pleased with this announcement:

“As we approach the Holiday season, excitement continues to mount for Xbox One and we’re pleased to announce our second premium product for the console. We have previously commented on how the enhanced performance of Xbox One opens up additional scope for innovation and believe that the precision engineering and customization of the Force Feedback Racing Wheel will appeal to the passionate racing gamer.”

Understandably, with Xbox One still without a launch date, there is no confirmed date for this peripheral, either. But, I’m sure those who’ll be playing Forza 5 would enjoy ripping up tracks whilst sitting at this wheel.
