Your “Mom” Hates Dead Space 2
Is it wrong to laugh out loud at mothers being shocked, nay, appalled by a violent video game? Well yes, it probably is, but don’t let that stop you from watching this new advertising campaign for Dead Space 2.
Entitled “Your Mom Hates Dead Space 2” (Yes, “mom”), this campaign is apparently based on real focus groups and shows the reactions of “moms” watching footage of Dead Space 2 in action.
Hit the jump to watch the trailer, some longer versions of individual focus tests and a behind the scenes look at the whole thing! We’re not sure about you, but in the second video, we think there is a glimpse of “I want to be playing this” in that particular mother’s eyes!
Dead Space 2 is released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on the 28th of January. We are celebrating the launch of Dead Space 2 by having a “Horror Month”, so stay tuned for plenty of content in the coming weeks!
