Konami Releases DLC For Birds of Steel

Konami Releases DLC For Birds of SteelPlayers of Konami’s Birds of Steel on the Xbox Live Arcade and PSN platforms were today treated to the release two DLC packs featuring the addition of new maps, planes and missions to the air combat title.

The first pack, entitled The Battle of Britain, consists of The Battle of Britain campaign — five pivotal single player missions— three versus maps, mission editor layout and a new Dynamic Campaign. The DLC also rewards players by adding 42,000 lions to the user’s profile.

Planes Pack 1, the second of the releases, adds the Republic Aviation’s P-47 Thunderbolt and a Vought OS2U Kingfisher to the game’s stable of authentically-recreated craft. These planes can then be used within Birds of Steel’s mission editor, the Dynamic Campaign, and multi-player modes. This one adds 32,000 lions to the user’s profile allowing the player to unlock further customization options.

Gamers can obtain Battle of Britain for 5,99 Euro via PlayStation Network or 480 Microsoft Points via Xbox Live Arcade and The Planes Pack for 4,99 Euro or 400 Microsoft Points.
