The Last Express is Coming to iOS This Week
Classic real-time Adventure Game The Last Express will be coming to iOS devices this week, after it has been in development bt DotEmu for quite some time.
The game was first released in 1997 for PC, and was designed by Jordan Mechner – the creator of the Prince of Persia series, who also worked on the film version of that classic computer game. The action in the game occurs aboard the Orient Expres, and in real-time – so all of the other passengers on board will go about their actions by themselves – no matter what you are doing.
The game is all about suspense and intrigue, with everything taking place jsut a few days before the start of World War One, with a cast of different characters from all over Europe, and an American protagonist. The game is very cinematic, both in its action and presentation – and it will be interesting to see how well it transfers to iOS devices. It is certainly one of the all-time classic Adventure Games.
