User Accidentally Gains Wii U Miiverse Admin Access

User-Accidentally-Gains-Wii-U-Miiverse-Admin-AccessNeoGAF user Trike has managed to accidentally gain admin access to the Wii Miiverse system, and has snapped pictures of a game list revealing as yet unannounced games.

It’s a bit confusing, but it seems that it all happened by mistake. There’s no word on whether this is an intentional way into the admin systems, or if it’s an early bug that Nintendo have now actually closed rather quickly, but the most interesting aspect is that the game list reveals “Yoshi’s Island Wii U”, as well as a listing for Metal Gear Solid. Trike also managed to see other people’s messages, one including the fact that some big games would be announced on December 10.

I found out I could access the debug menu on Miiverse by hitting the “X” button on the gamepad while hovering over the exit button. I found an admin access list or something to that effect. I couldn’t really do anything from there though. I could view different messages from a developer though. One mentioned that there would be big games coming out(announced?) on the 10th of December.

That said, it doesn’t confirm that those games are coming to Wii U, for all we know it could just be keywords used on the service, or the whole thing could be a rather convincing hoax. You can check out the entire thread on NeoGAF here.
