Telltale’s The Walking Dead is Coming to PlayStation Vita

Sony’s little, itty, bitty handheld has been the butt of the joke since last February. In other words; since it launched. The thing is a fantastic piece of kit, everyone that has one seems to love it, but there aren’t that many great (remember the importance of that word, please) games on it.

Now, this may not be an original game on the platform, however it is most certainly a great one. Today, IGN revealed that Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Season 1 is making its way onto the PS Vita.

PlayStation’s Director of Product Planning and Platform Software Innovation Don Mesa didn’t mention a release date when talking to IGN, nor did he drop some knowledge on whether it would be released episodically. He did however say that;

“We think that the emotion and the immersive experiences you’re going to get there, wherever you’re sitting, if you’re in your living room and playing on your Vita or sitting at a café or at the bus stop and playing this, you get that shock or fright. I think that’s going to be important. That’s what we want to deliver as you’re playing.”

Yet another platform for people to enjoy this marvellous title which won our own Game of the Year award, last year.
