Microsoft Award Dedication With a Free Copy of Killer Instinct

by on November 6, 2013

We’re not too sure if Microsoft just like GodisaGeek’s Adam Cook, or if they’re feeling generous with a number of you, but it appears that they’re handing out copies of Killer Instinct.

Adam received an email from Microsoft today, which states that he’ll be able to download the full version of Killer Instinct on November 22 — Xbox One’s launch day. The game will be released on Xbox One as a free download, allowing players to choose only one character, with fees for additional fighters. The email that the lovely Mr. Cook received reads as follows:

“You’re a fan of ours and we’re a fan of yours.
Thank you for your dedication to Xbox. We want to show you our appreciation, so we’re giving you KILLER INSTINCT.

We’ve unlocked all characters so you can hit the ground running.

Watch your inbox on 22 November for instructions on how to claim your free gift.”

When Killer Instinct was first shown off, there was a mixed reception from the majority, but as the press and public get hands-on time with the Xbox One game, people seem to be positive on Double Helix’s effort.

Update: Through Console Monster, we’ve learned that this promotion applies to people with, “a high GamerScore or a Live tenure”.
