Sony Are Very Happy With Positive PlayStation 4 Sales Figures
Not only has the PlayStation 4 become the fastest-selling games console ever in the United Kingdom, out-performing both its fellow new console the Xbox One and previous record-holder the Sony PSP, but Sony can also announce that the North American launch of the machine was the largest-ever console launch in the United States for Sony.
The official PlayStation Blog reports that after releasing in thirty-two counties around the world, more than 2.1 million PlayStation 4 consoles have been sold. And more than one million of those were sold within the first 24 hours of sale in the United States. Some impressive reading for the accountants, but now I think that both PS4 and Xbox One owners will agree that it is time for more news on the next new games to hit the market – after a somewhat lacklustre launch line-up for both consoles.
