Call of Duty World League will open in North America this December

The next season of the Call of Duty World League will begin with the North American open, from December 16 to 18, where teams from all over the US will compete for the $100,000 prize.

The first World League season featured over 1000 competing teams whittled down to the best 32, over the course of a year, to take part in the World Championship at Call of Duty XP. Meanwhile fans watched the drama unfold for over 1.1 billion minutes across 100 million views.

“The debut season of the CWL was a massive success, huge thanks to the Call of Duty community and our partners for their support.” said Rob Kostich, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Call of Duty, Activision. “We’re thrilled to start a new CWL season, featuring Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, at MLG Las Vegas.  It’s going to be a great, exciting new season for the CWL and we look forward to the competition to come.”

The competition will take place at MLG Las Vegas with all of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare gameplay action streamed live on the MLG website, Twitch and Youtube. More information on the upcoming season will also be presented on October 26 at 10PM here.
