Presents to buy for the perfect white (shark) Christmas

by on November 26, 2018

In support of the Switch release of Abzu on November 29th, and the DVD/BluRay release of The Meg on December 10th, we’ve put together a little guide for the shark lovers among you.

The Meg

Probably the most obvious gift of the guide, but The Meg is coming out on December 10, and if you fancy the constant need to terrify yourself by watching humongous sharks scare the bejeezus out of you, why not buy it just in time for Christmas? Starring Jason Statham, Rainn Wilson, and Li Bingbing, a prehistoric shark thought extinct is terrorising all and sundry, and it’s up to The Stath to sort him out. Pre-order your copy here

Abzu

From the developers of Journey, this deep sea exploration feels just as cathartic as its predecessor, and features some beautiful visuals and a beautiful soundtrack. Whilst you won’t be attacked by sharks, that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few swimming about. It’s a lovely game, and it’s now coming to the Switch, so you can take that portable console with you, exploring the deep on a bus, coach, or in the bath.

Shark wrapping paper, Paperchase (£2.63)

Need paper to wrap all your Christmas presents? Love sharks? Why not combine the two and buy this shark-themed Christmas wrapping paper from Paperchase?

Ceramic shark Creature Cup, Amazon (£11.99)

There’s nothing better than having a nice cup of coffee or tea on Christmas morning whilst opening presents, and these ceramic cups are a real doozy. Just don’t forget the small ceramic shark in the bottom of your drink or else you may just drop it in fear. It’s not a real shark, it’s ceramic!

Shark cushion, Nauticalia (£14.99)

Sick of cuddling a nice teddy or a duck feathered pillow and thought, gee, I wish I had a cushion shaped like a great white shark? Well now you can. Head over to Nauticalia and buy your very own for £14.99.

Glass hammerhead shark Christmas decoration, Paperchase (£5.60)

You can buy so many different types of Christmas tree decoration these days, but these glass hammerhead shark decorations are real pretty, and would look great on your tree. If you’ve got blue tree lights, it might even look like its swimming between them. Use your imagination, buy one, and have a very merry Christmas.
