NVIDIA demonstrates new Ray Tracing technology

NVIDIA has released a trio demonstrations that showcase its new Ray Tracing technology, and the improvements that is bringing to visuals and performance in games. Each of them focuses on a specific game to show how the lighting impact of Ray Tracing can improve your gaming experience.

The first, is a video of upcoming action FPS from Mundfish called Atomic Heart, and demonstrates the shadow, reflective and material effects that can be utilised with the technology:

The second demonstration is on popular Chinese MMO Justice. See below an image from the game without the Ray Tracing tehcnology applied to the game:

The final example was from Epic Games, with their Reflections demo which showcases how gaming cinematics can improve with a funny and impressive demo using the Unreal Engine, with a familiar cast:
