X10 Dead Rising 2 Trailer

Straight from X10 comes a new Dead Rising 2 trailer and it must be said that this is one of the worst trailers we have ever seen. It looks like something that has been put together by a couple of five year old kids and probably doesn’t do the actual game any sort of justice at all. Come on Capcom, we expect alot better from you. Quality of the trailer aside though, it does show of some snippets of fun gameplay. We particularly like  the use of the two chainsaws and, of course, the wheelchair. The original Dead Rising was a fun game but was hindered by a really strange save system that put many players off the “zombie masher” completely. If this sequel can manage to fix that issue and introduce some new fun gameplay elements, then it should be turn out to be a quality title.

To go along with the trailer, Capcom stated that Dead Rising 2 will be released in North America on August 31st and in Europe on September 3rd. Oh and they didn’t end it there with their Dead Rising related announcements; Capcom also announced Dead Rising: CASE ZERO, a prologue that will bridge the story gap between the original and the sequel. The title will be fully playable and will be released only on Xbox Live prior to the launch of Dead Rising 2.
