Ready at Dawn Working on New IP for “Next Generation Home Console”

by on February 20, 2012

Ready at Dawn PlayStation 4 Californian based Ready at Dawn Studios is working on a new IP for “an exciting new AAA IP for a Next-Generation home console game system,” it has said in a job posting on its website.

Ready at Dawn, who have previously worked on the God of War titles for Sony’s PSP, as well as the God of War Origins Collection for PlayStation 3, said that it “is working on a 3rd Person Action Adventure and is looking for talented, motivated and self-directed developers to join our team.”

While Ready at Dawn hasn’t released any official information about its next project, it would be fair to assume from the job listing that this project is for the next PlayStation console, which is itself subject to many rumours about whether it will get an E3 unveiling or not.

The developer has dropped a couple of hints, previously stating that Uncharted is “the kind of game we’re going to make” in an interview with Eurogamer (as reported by VG247).

Perhaps we will have to wait until E3 in June to see what Ready at Dawn is up to, but it’s beginning to sound exciting already.
