Leave it to the Pros in the Dishonored “Killer Moves” Video
If you read our review of Arkane Studios’ exceptional steampunk stealth opus Dishonored, you’ll know that we’re pretty big fans of the player freedom on offer in each mission. Dishonored tells you what you have to do in a given area, tools you up and lets you go, free to kill with as much considered precision or manic abandon as you deem necessary.
As disgraced bodyguard turned supernatural assassin Corvo Attano, the scope for combining the numerous weapons and powers at your disposal is immense – especially when you take into account an environment that was built from the ground up with murder in mind. Well, the Dishonored community has been hard at work recording their creativity and submitting it to Bethesda, and now the publisher has cobbled together a compilation vid of the cleverest and most brutal kills.
It’s hard to pick a favourite, but when one player pushes a guard off a ridiculously high ledge and then drop-assassinates him in mid air it’s hard not to air-punch. The music – a remix of Dishonored’s haunting signature song, “Drunken Whaler” – is also awesome. Check out the video:
