Are Quantic Dream Looking into Multiplayer Gaming?

Quantic-Dream-MultiplayerIt appears that for future titles, the Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls developer may be entering the multiplayer arena. At least, that’s what some information dug up by Kotaku’s Superannuation has uncovered.

A job listing has appeared on the jobs page of Quantic Dream’s site, with the following description:

We are currently looking for a skilled Lead Online programmer in order to set up and to manage a team dedicated to our online / network developments.

Under our CTO’s responsibility and in collaboration with the other R&D departments, you will be in charge of analyzing our online / network needs for our projects, being a creative force on these systems’ software architecture and you will be in charge of coordinating the development of chosen solutions.

Amongst other things, you will be in charge also of providing a plan and schedule for your team as well as to insure your team’s follow-up.

You have a very deep and high knowledge of online gaming / network developments.

We are looking for a creative lead online programmer with a passion for online gaming in order to be with us for our future AAA projects.

And one of the skills is:

The ideal candidate has been working as a lead programmer on a multiplayer title for the past 6 years and have a strong understanding of the multiplayer genre ; Must have shipped a multiplayer AAA title before
